Google Pixel 8 Pro with earbud promotion
I saw a promotion for earbuds when pre-ordering a Google Pixel phone online, so I put in the order for the phone. The website didn't explain how to get the earbuds, i thought they would be included, or I would get a coupon for them. No such luck. Turns out I had to put them in the cart at the same time.
When picking up the phone at the store, they told me after much research that I could contact Google Pixel support and they would supply them. So I opened the phone and started using it. I contacted Google and they said no, I would need to work with the seller. I went back to the store, showed Googles response, and they sent a request to the online store (they ARE different), with no response. I called the online store a couple of days later and only could get through to someone in repair, she said I needed to talk to someone in ordering, and she sent a request for them to contact me. After 2 days of no response, I called again, after selecting the English option, was put through to a Portuguese only speaker, who basically hung up on me. I called back, got someone else with the same result. I went back to the store, and ended up at the service desk, where the man explained that because I'd not done the first step, I was unable to receive them, and because I'd used the phone (he found 2 almost invisible scratches), I couldn't return it. I never had anyone say that I wasn't entitled to the earbuds, but still never got them.
